Wild Rice Casserole

This wild rice dish is an easy fix-and-forget side dish. Just stir the rice together with broth, water, mushrooms, onion, and cubed pork for extra flavor, and bake.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked Wild Rice, rinsed and drained
  • 1 10-ounce can condensed beef broth
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1 4-ounce can sliced mushrooms, undrained
  • 1 pork chop, browned and cubed
  • 1/2 cup diced onion

Method

Place rice in 2-quart casserole. Cover with broth and water. Add undrained mushrooms, pork, and onion. Cover and bake at 350 degrees until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 1-1/2 hrs.
