Sage Stuffing


This turkey stuffing uses both sage and poultry seasoning, combined with cubed white bread, chopped onion and eggs. Add chopped sweet pepper or mushrooms, if you wish.



Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf white bread, cubed
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sage
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 bell pepper or 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped

Method

Wash turkey well. Mix all above ingredients together in large bowl. Pack stuffing loosely inside turkey cavity. Roast according to directions for turkey.
