
This stuffing recipe combines cinnamon bread cubes with chopped apples, apple cider, and raisins--both dark and golden.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium saucepan, simmer raisins and apple cider, covered, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. In a greased 9x13 pan, combine diced apples and bread cubes; pour raisins and cider over bread cubes and mix well. Bake for 1 hour or until dressing is set.

This is my modification of an old German family recipe, passed down from my great-grandmother, that has become a staple at Thanksgiving.
