The day before, Thaw the turkey and Make your stuffing, clean the inside and out side of your turkey. Sprinkle a little salt inside the turkey. Add your stuffing to both ends of the turkey, place in a roasting pan or cake pan. Set in fridge till ready to bake.
When you are ready to bake:
Add 1-2 cups of water to the pan to collect the drippings, and keep from burning dry, then cover with tin foil.
I preheat my oven @ 250* about 2am thanksgiving morning, and let it slow cook all night. For the last hour remove the tin foil to give it the golden brown color and crisp skin (I use a turkey baster to keep it from burning). It will be ready by 11:00am or NooN. Giving you time to make all the trimmings and let the juices run for the most flavorful and juicy turkey you will ever try.
