Beckie's Sage Stuffing

A pre-packaged stuffing mix makes this recipe fast and easy--perfect for stuffing chicken or turkey.

Ingredients:

• 1 pkg sage stuffing mix
• 1 egg
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 stalk celery, chopped
• boiled water

Method

Empty stuffing mix into a large bowl. Add boiled water until desired consistency is reached. Mix egg, onion, and celery until well blended. Stuff bird loosely allowing room for stuffing to expand. Roast chicken according to recipe. See recipe on this site for Roast chicken with vegetables.

Notes: If desired,you may add a little extra sage to this recipe. I prefer Catherine Clark Brownberry brand of stuffing mix.
