This easy stuffing combines torn white bread with cooked bacon and onion, and adds apple pie filling. It may be used inside poultry, or baked in a casserole.
Pan fry the bacon and onion together until the bacon is cooked but not crispy. Drain off the grease. Pour the bacon and onion into a large bowl. Tear bread into pieces and add to the bowl. Mix well. Add the two cans of apple pie filling. Mix well. Stuffing should be moist, not dry. Stuff turkey or chicken, OR I sometime just put it into a covered casserole and bake it, when serving Pork chops or Ham.
