Apple, Plum & Hazelnut Stuffing

This fruit-filled bread stuffing combines fresh apples and plums with crunchy hazelnuts, and adds nutmeg for extra flavor.
Ingredients
- 3 cups peeled and diced apples
- 2 cup peeled and diced fresh plums
- 2 cups chopped hazelnuts
- 1 cup finely diced celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups toasted bread, cut in cubes
- 1 cup finely diced onion
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken or turkey broth
- 2 eggs

Method
Mix all ingredients together and place in a covered casserole dish, or stuff into a turkey or large roasting hen. Bake at 325 degrees until stuffing temperature is 165 degrees.
